Addition of stoichiometric quantities of H₂O to the pogo-stick complex [Cp[prime or minute]FeN(SiMe₃)₂] yielded the trimeric [{Cp[prime or minute]Fe([small mu ]-OH)}₃] complex in which the high-spin iron(II) centres exhibit antiferromagnetic exchange coupling.
